Tom began his career in law enforcement in 1999 as a telecommunicator, in April of 2001 he became a part time police officer with the Village of Granville and in 2002 he took a full time position with Granville. Tom then took a position for a short time with the Village of Sheridan as a full time police officer, before coming to the City of Marseilles in August of 2005, where he now takes on responsibilities, as a juvenile officer, community service officer, and field training officer. Tom was also a member of the Oglesby Fire and Ambulance for 4 years, before his law enforcement career did not allow for the proper time to be put into volunteering. Tom enjoys hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his family in his spare time. Tom is married and has two sons, one dog and one cat.
